WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS:

Target Audience: Healthcare Professionals; Health Educators; Social Workers; Faith-based Organizations; Community leaders; Employee Worksite Wellness Programs; Industries; Businesses; and Consumers.

Objectives:  By the end of each training session the participant will be equipped to: a) Better understand the mind, body, and spiritual connection and its role in making and sustaining healthy lifestyle changes;  b) Identify a minimum of three (3) activities that lead to healthy lifestyle changes;  and c) Demonstrate one activity that leads to healthy lifestyle changes.

Training/Workshop Outline:  Active learning is the small change approach.  Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the audience and average 60-90 minutes in duration.  All sessions will consist of: 
A small change overview; ‘Quick data’ on the increased prevalence of chronic diseases; Individual and group activities; Incentives; and Questions from the audience.
